About Us

FACT Oregon's mission is to equip and empower families of youth experiencing disability to pursue whole lives. Our goal is to transform how families see disability, help them set high expectations for their children, support families to participate fully in school and community, and position youth with disabilities to realize full, healthy lives as adults in communities that value them as contributing members. Our work stresses that disability is a natural part of the human experience and reinforces the rights of ALL people to lead self-determined lives.

FACT Oregon offers special education and disability support including 1:1 support, trainings, community-building events such as the All Ability Tri4Youth program, which seeks to promote inclusion in community recreation, and resources such as our new Dream To Go Far storybook. These offerings help families grow their vision, navigate education, disability and community-based systems and services, and advocate for the supports their children need to live healthy, full lives.
